Confocal Raman Microspectroscopy is used to develop Water Transport Phenomena, Published in Analyst, a Journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry
Our group’s recent paper, titled “Quantitative Raman microspectroscopy for water permeability parameters at a droplet interface bilayer” has been published in Analyst, a Journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry. This paper is coauthored by undergraduate students, Samuel Braziel (’18), Kalen Sullivan (’17) and Dr. Lee. In this paper, we derive parameters for bilayer water transport across an isolated nanoliter aqueous droplet pair using confocal Raman microspectroscopy. This method provides a significant methodological advance in determining water permeability coefficients in a convenient and reliable way. Congratulations to the research team!
